Overview: A brand identity for Callburger, a burger restaurant inspired by the golden era of American diners and burger joints from the 1950s and 1960s. The goal was to create a brand that captured the nostalgia, personality, and optimism of classic roadside burger culture while feeling memorable and relevant today.
The concept: At the heart of the identity is a custom mascot designed specifically for the brand. Inspired by the playful characters and advertising icons that defined mid-century America, the character became the face of Callburger and the foundation of its visual storytelling. More than a logo, it serves as a symbol of the brand's personality fun, approachable, and full of character.
The craft: Every element of the identity was built around this concept. The mascot was illustrated from scratch and combined with a visual system influenced by vintage diners, retro signage, and classic American burger culture. Typography, colors, packaging, and communication pieces were carefully designed to evoke the feeling of an authentic 50s and 60s burger experience while maintaining a contemporary level of clarity and usability.
